Separate the tier, selected modules and locally applicable policy before comparing a premium.
Silver, Gold and Platinum are distinct from Close Care. Four optional modules belong to the broader tiers; Close Care packaging requires its own current documents.
The dated overall ceilings and core deductible choices are documented below. Outpatient contributions and individual sublimits need separate checking.
The generic IPIDs exclude local-licence policies in five named markets. An exception to a document is not evidence that a resident cannot obtain any Cigna policy.
Generic CGHO literature for annual policies commencing or renewing from 15 February 2026. Not a residence-specific offer. Generic IPIDs expressly exclude local-license policies in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and UAE; request applicable local documents.

USD where stated. Benefit sublimits, accepted medical terms and geographic eligibility still apply. Checked 18 October 2026.
The broker document index distinguishes Belgian, UK-branch, Guernsey, Hong Kong and Singapore issuing entities. The policy schedule—not the Cigna brand—identifies your insurer and regulator.
Silver, Gold and Platinum are broader international tiers. Close Care is a separate geographically restricted product, not equivalent worldwide cover at a lower tier.
Per beneficiary per period of cover: Silver US$1m, Gold US$2m, Platinum Paid in Full, Close Care US$500,000. Benefit sublimits, exclusions and medical necessity still apply. These are benefit ceilings, not premiums.
Broader tiers combine core International Medical Insurance with up to four optional modules: International Outpatient; International Medical Evacuation; International Health and Wellbeing; International Vision and Dental. Do not transfer this menu to Close Care. Its September 2024 guide describes separate outpatient/wellness and dental options; current availability is unresolved.
Broader plans offer worldwide including USA or worldwide excluding USA. Close Care is scoped to country of residence and nationality; request its current permitted-country and temporary-travel rules.
USA inclusion is an area choice. Worldwide excluding USA is not unrestricted US treatment. Any emergency-outside-area exception requires its own conditions and duration.
Broader core USD deductibles: 0 / 375 / 750 / 1,500 / 3,000 / 7,500 / 10,000. Outpatient deductibles are separate; optional percentage cost share is additional. These are not confirmed Close Care choices.
International Outpatient is optional: annual maximum Silver US$15,000, Gold US$35,000, Platinum Paid in Full, with sublimits. A current core table places US$5,000 beside kidney dialysis, not routine Close Care outpatient, and has a separate inconsistent dialysis row. Do not claim a built-in US$5,000 outpatient allowance without current wording.
Routine maternity in core: Silver not covered; Gold US$7,000; Platinum US$14,000. The standard wait is 12 months with treatment-location exceptions that may require 24 months. Optional outpatient prenatal/postnatal limits are separately US$3,500 for Gold and US$7,000 for Platinum. Check location, event, complications and newborn rules.
International Vision and Dental is optional for broader tiers, with its own limits and waits. Emergency inpatient dental is not routine dental or optical cover. Close Care options require current confirmation.
International Medical Evacuation is optional for broader tiers. Core ambulance is not equivalent to evacuation/repatriation. The generic Close Care ambulance row specifies road only.
Medical underwriting and accepted exclusions govern. February 2026 literature describes narrowly defined 60+ Pre-Existing Condition Care and Platinum 40–59 Pre-Existing Condition Care. These are not blanket acceptance of every existing condition.
Exact current provider and authorisation conditions remain to be confirmed in the customer guide and policy rules. Do not assume every hospital or outpatient visit is cashless.
Current market-specific new-entry age rules remain unverified here. An age-banded benefit or quote returned for age 75 does not establish new-applicant eligibility.
The dated table applies to annual policies commencing or renewing from 15 February 2026. Guaranteed-renewability, age and termination clauses require the applicable current contract.
Request the issuing-entity cancellation clause: window, starting event and refund/no-claim conditions. No universal cooling-off period is established.
February 2026 brochure offers annual, quarterly and monthly payment. Monthly instalments do not establish a month-to-month cancellable policy; no monthly premium is supplied.
These are buyer questions based on the documented distinctions, not personal recommendations or additional policy promises.
Start with the local issuer and governing documents, not the generic global IPID. Ask the adviser to mark which table applies to your accepted offer and which module provides the consultations, tests and prescriptions you expect to use.
Compare core deductible, outpatient deductible and any percentage contribution separately. Ask for a worked eligible-claim example in the quotation currency; a lower annual premium may leave a larger routine-care bill. No Thailand-specific acceptance or contribution amount is established here.
An overall ceiling is only one part of the comparison. Ask the insurer to point to the exact rows for oncology, scans, ongoing medication and treatment after discharge. Keep the area, modules, deductible and underwriting decision identical before evaluating a tier upgrade.
For Platinum, “Paid in Full” does not answer whether a treatment is eligible. Ask whether the benefit is included, whether medical necessity and pre-authorisation apply and whether any benefit-specific restrictions remain.
Do not treat Close Care as a cheaper version of the same worldwide package. Request its permitted countries, temporary travel provisions, ambulance definition and exact outpatient arrangement.
The inspected current table and older customer guide do not resolve the provider brief’s packaging claims. Keep that question open until the current wording and schedule answer it; do not use an archival module structure to fill the gap.

Guide describes optional Outpatient and Wellness Care and Dental Care and Treatment. This conflicts with the supplied no-modules assertion and cannot establish current 2026 packaging.

The listed CGHO IPIDs do not apply to individuals covered under local licences in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia or UAE. This exception does not mean all residents are ineligible; it means those IPIDs are not their governing documents.

Read the official sourceNo. “Paid in Full” is the table’s wording for the overall maximum; it does not remove benefit-specific conditions, excluded treatments or restrictions. A benefit absent from your accepted contract does not become covered because of that phrase.
Not the listed generic CGHO IPIDs: Cigna’s resources page explicitly excludes policies under local licences in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and UAE. Request the applicable local documents and legal issuer.
For Silver, Gold and Platinum, International Outpatient is an optional module. Close Care is a separate product: the provider brief and September 2024 Customer Guide differ on built-in outpatient and module structure. The current inspected table does not resolve that difference. Obtain your exact current wording; do not assume US$5,000 built-in outpatient or no modules.
No. They are amounts you may pay toward eligible claims under a selected deductible arrangement. The USD core options belong to a dated generic brochure, not a residence-specific premium quote; outpatient choices differ.
No. Ask about the specific oncology and chronic-care benefits, ongoing outpatient medication, accepted pre-existing conditions, authorisation and renewal. The overall ceiling alone does not establish whether a particular course of treatment is covered.
That is not established by these sales sources. Check the chosen hospital, treatment, network, authorisation and payment guarantee. Keep a reimbursement and emergency-contact plan if direct settlement is unavailable.
Ask an adviser whether the exact product is available for your residence and request current documents through an appropriate channel. Share medical declarations only through the insurer's secure process, not a general WhatsApp request.
Ask about Cigna Global plan evaluation, current wording and the appropriate next steps. No medical records in the initial message.
