2026 medical trend projections
What these numbers are — and are not
Each panel below is a survey projection for 2026 published by its named firm. They describe the medical cost trend insurers expect, before plan changes (gross) or after them (net). They are not observed 2026 inflation, not consumer price inflation, not a hospital bill and not your premium renewal increase. The three firms use different methods and samples, so their figures are shown side by side — never averaged.

WTW — 2026 Global Medical Trends Survey
Methodology & scope
Survey of health insurers and intermediaries asking for the medical cost trend they project for 2026. "Gross" means before any plan-design changes or cost-sharing adjustments. These are projections, not observed 2026 inflation, not consumer prices, and not any individual premium renewal.
Regional figures are survey-wide aggregates. WTW APAC 14.0% is not the medical inflation rate of any single Asian country.

Aon — 2026 Medical Trend Rates — Asia Pacific
Methodology & scope
