Approved baseline: individual French national in Thailand · inpatient + outpatient · worldwide excluding USA. Currency and deductible remain unselected. Other module, cost-share, tax and underwriting settings are provisional comparison criteria requiring confirmation against actual documents, not approved policy terms. Selected deductible is a matching criterion, not a claim that every insurer offers it. Family and individual medical terms need a separate quotation.

How to interpret the prices

Read the annual commitment

Month displays annual premium divided by 12, not a guaranteed instalment rate. Taxes and currency must match; no currency conversion is performed.

Compare a care pathway, not just a total

Age, country, nationality, area including/excluding USA, benefit modules, deductible and cost share can change the premium. Matching labels alone does not verify equal annual limits or hospital access.

Median before mean

The true median is the middle of the retained price observations; the arithmetic mean is secondary. Observed min/max show dispersion, not a promise of your lowest or highest possible offer.

Gaps are meaningful

Insufficient observations, no data and checked-product unavailability are different. Nothing is interpolated. Age 75 may have fewer eligible entry options; personal underwriting and continuity still require advice.

Publication methodology

  • Exact matched profiles; rolling 90-calendar-day window; at least 20 distinct eligible insurer/product/issuer quotations after exclusions.
  • Newest observation for each insurer/product/issuer counts once. Pending, declined, unavailable, unmatched terms and individually underwritten records do not enter premiums.
  • Extreme outliers outside three interquartile ranges are excluded only with at least 20 observations and a nonzero interquartile spread. Exclusion counts are disclosed; legitimate price differences need review, not selective deletion.
  • Only aggregate cells are curated into this site. No raw customer records, public import or automatic MIRA/MCP connection. Data more than one day past its refresh date is suppressed until the window is recalculated.
  • Maintainer policy review must confirm limits, exact benefits, source permissions, currency, tax and insurer eligibility. A computed statistic is not validation of a policy or a personalized offer.

Data dates appear only when genuine quotations have been collected.

What publication requires

This index will show medians of real, anonymized, matched quotes only. No figure appears until a cell holds at least 20 distinct validated observations, and no premium is ever estimated. Each accepted quote record must carry:

  • Age at quote date
  • Country of residence
  • Underwriting state (e.g. moratorium or full medical underwriting)
  • Area of cover (e.g. worldwide excluding USA)
  • Inpatient only vs inpatient + outpatient
  • Deductible level
  • Insurer and exact plan tier
  • Currency
  • Quote date

Confidential CRM or patient data is never ingested, and no personalized quote tool runs without explicit client input.
